Dear Sam (and list)... I have Edward ROBERTS who married Alice Rambo. Edward and Alice had a daughter, Jemimah, who married Benjamin DAVIS. Jemimah has a sister Alice who married Alexander PHILLIPS. These are all in the Montgomery County area...branching out into Chester County. Benjamin Davis was b. ca 1767. He married Jemimah in the German Reformed Church in Philadelphia in 1792. Benjamin has a sister, Ann Davis, who married Jesse OWEN. Benjamin's aunt, Elizabeth DAVIS, married Nathaniel GRIFFITH. Nathaniel Griffith was from Bucks County where the Griffiths lived next door to, and intermarried with, the ABRAHAM family. I'm very interested in your family. All the names are the same...the dates are right...the locations are probably good....but it is probably all just coincidence....dead ends don't get help this easily!!!!1 I'd love to know more about your Owen Davis and James Davis. I forgot to mention that Evan Griffith married Mary JAMES as his third wife. He died in 1758. His previous wife was Sarah Coffin. Evan and Sarah were the parents of Nathaniel who married Elizabeth Davis (Benjamin's sister). I missed the post from Karen to which Sam was replying. Could someone forward it to me?
