Hello everyone... I am sooooooooooo happy... a very kind lady found the mother of my Priscilla DICKINSON the wife of Thomas LINCOLN... Her name was Margaret ... over the week end I have found that her name was Margaret THOMAS and she was the d/o Thomas THOMAS. Thomas THOMAS and ? were my 6th g gp.. his dau Margaret md Joseph DICKINSON were my 5th gr gp, their dau Priscilla DICKINSON md Thomas LINCOLN 4th gp their dau Elizabeth LINCOLN md Geroge HOLLIS were my 3rd gr gp All were in Chester county, Pennsylvania... ~~~~~~~~ I received this from a kind man on the list.. Pennsylvania Wills 1682-1834 WFT CD 209 wills of Chester county, Pennsylvania the original will can be found on pg 301 The abstract of his will says: THOMAS, Thomas, Newtown, Yeoman [written] 20 July 1752 [proved] 13 May 1754 C. 480 [what is C.480?] To daughter Sarah THOMAS £10 and articles named. To daughter Priscilla £18 in household goods. To Joseph DICKINSON and wife Margaret (THOMAS) 15 shillings To sons Jacob and William £5 each. His will directs executors "to provide for son Solomon during his life and not suffer him to be abused by an means." To Son Hezekiah my plantation whereon I live in Newtown containing about 150 acres with stock. Executor: son Hezekiah [this is who was to care for Samuel] Turstees: brother-in-law Edward WOODWARD and William LEWIS Witnesses: Thamar THOMAS, Sarah MILES, Thomas THOMAS. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Do any of you know this family? I have listed the children of Thomas THOMAS.. I don't know the birth or what order any of them are in. I do know that Priscilla DICKINSON was born in 1754.. and that Thomas LINCOLN was born Nov 1758.. and their daughter Elizabeth LINCOLN was born 27 July 1780.. Those are the only dates I have.. other than the day Thomas THOMAS wrote his will 20 July 1752 and the day his will was proved which was 13 May 1754.
