Married to Catherine Wright 16 Dec. 1816, at Old Swedes Church, Delaware. No earlier Powell listed at this Church. Thomas was drafted into War of 1812 from Black Horse, PA. County of Chester on 5 Sept. 1814, he served with Capt. Steele's 5th Bat'n. Thomas and Catherine had children, John Powell, b. 1821, d. 1868, Samuel Powell, b. 1823, Joseph Powell, b. 1825, Thomas W. Powell, b. 1828, Lewis Powell, b. 1830, d. 1897, William Powell, b. 1832, Jane C. Powell Rothrock, b. 1835, Allen Powell b. 1839. Samuel, Thomas W. and Allen Powell moved to Ohio. WHO is this Thomas Powell's parents and siblings? I have been searching for thirty years.
