Hi list, I just rec'd new info on my DeLong line. I have a second marriage certificate for my gggrandfather Leonard Roberts DeLong who was born 1862. According to this certificate, he was a native of Long's Corner Chester County. Does anyone have access to any info ie directories or censuses for this part of Chester who could look up my DeLongs? The years I am looking for are 1840 & 1850. Leonard's parents were Thomas Roberts DeLong and Sarah Apler/Epler. I am desperately looking for info on Thomas's & Sarah's parents, who were they? Hoping the census may reveal this. Thomas was born in 1828 and Sarah was born in 1830-1. Thomas had a sister Maryann (DeLong) Weber and a step brother John DeLong. ANY help would be soooo appreciated. Thanks! Michelle
