You're the person I've been trying to contact, Karen. I wanted to ask you about the Samuel OWENS, Owen DAVIS, Meshach JAMES. These are my people. I found THE HISTORY OF THE TONOLOWAY CHURCH. It mentions "TWO" Owen DAVISES. One is mine, Owen DAVIS who married to Hannah JAMES, dau of Meshach and Mary. The other was married to a Lititia PHILLIPS. Karen, bless you, can you tell me anything at all about these people? Do you know of a Griffith PHILLIPS and Catherine ROBERTS, or maybe a James DAVIS born abt 1761 who married Keziah PHILLIPS, a dau of Samuel PHILLIPS and Keziah ABRAHAM? They were of the Valley FORGE area in Pa. Well, actually, Samuel PHILLIPS was from Upper Merion, Montgomery Co., Pa. But, I/m especially looking for James DAVIS who was living with an uncle in the Valley Forge area when General Washington wintered his troops there. Any help at all is certainly appreciated, Karen.
