You could write to the Clerk and see what they can provide. Wendy

My mother is trying to get birth certs from Wilkes Barre / Scranton area. She is having difficulty in doing so, do you have any suggestions? Charlene
Hello everyone and good day! :-) My family of North Coventry attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church in the late 1800s and into the 1900s. I do not know exactly where the church was located. I assume Chester County, but another county is possible. If anyone has any information on whether the church still exists and where, or under a different name, where the church records may be, etc., I would appreciate it. Thank you very much. :-)
Can someone direct me as to where I might determine the existence of, and subsequently order same, the will and/or probate records for John ELLIOT who died in Warwick Twp, Chester Co, Mar 27, 1883? Also would there be a death record/certificate in this time frame in PA? Thank you. Bill Boyle
Do any of you Chester County historians know if both Charlestown and Pikeland Townships had their own Militia in the 1780 time frame? Does anyone know the history of action under Col. Snyder in the Charlestown Militia in 1780. Thanks in advance. Thom Harleman mrtwh@juno.com

Can someone tell me where Radnor is? I found on an Oaths of Allegiance list of Chester County of 1778, a George SAVAGE of Radnor. Is it near Coventry? (Most of my SAVAGE kin in the late 1700's were in the Coventry area.) Were there any churches or Quaker meeting places and cemeteries near Radnor? Thanks for anyone's help. Diana
A volunteer sent this information to me in regard to one of my Lilley ancesters. The son Abner B. Lilley would probably have been around 27 at this time and out of the household. There were apparently twenty children in all so there must be some more "cousins" out there somewhere. The census was a little difficult to read so some of the ages are guesses. 1850 Federal Census Chester Co PA Nantmeal Twp. Walter B.
