Our ancestors killed wolves whenever they were found not only because they ate our livestock, but also because they killed our children! I challenge you to find an official record of a death of a human being due to wolf attack. As far as I have been able to see the American wolf has never been a direct death of a human, adult or child. That isn't to say they wouldn't if there was nothing else to eat. Yes they killed livestock but wouldn't you if you were hungry? Renee
