We are looking for a LEONARD - Rosie - brother etc that surfaced in Centre Cnty ca 1866 - she claims to have been married to To Dr. John Harvey Pierce - Philipsburg - Have 3#s of paper sent by a great researcher from Bellefonte and never a record of a marriage - [Many lawsuits - land etc] had a son d. as infant. Dr. JHP had deserted his family after the Civil War and took up with Rosie Leonard [all from Susquehanna Cnty] Names all through the Philipsburg Books but after this death - this is the last we can find: [Excerpted from my genie notes in FTM] "by 1910 - same as 1910 above - There is on Line 43 - Rose Anna - HH [aged 49] wid. showing 1 ch-0 living /at 1911 English Ave., Altoona, Brian Co., Penn. showing own income - owns house.. this age given as 10 years younger than the PA-1900 - [yet with all other age discrepancies noted, 1870 and 1880] it could very well be her.
