At first glance I found the article on Boyd Heckman, and thought that was nice but made me wonder if he could be related somehow and went about my day. Yesterday morning, I had more time to read the whole addition, and could not believe what I found on pages 17 - 28! Eleven pages of Heckman family starting in 1754, with my 3-great grandmother, #34-Catherine Heckman-Confer-Zerby, in the second generation! (A few years ago, Justin filled me in on the Confer line.) I would love to get in touch with the submitters of the family tree to share what I have and to update their tree on Catherine's family after they moved to Stephenson So., IL.
