My g-g-g-grandfather John Hull (ca. 1792-1884) served in the War of 1812 (Sep - Nov 1812) as a private in a rifle company commanded by Cap. Joseph Kleckner. According to his CMSR, the Rifle Company commanded by Capt Joseph Kleckner was attached to the 131 Regt Pennsylvania Militia (2 Regt Pennsylvania Riflemen), and marched from Aaronsburg, Centre Co., on Oct 9, 1812. In a message dated 1/5/2007 10:46:22 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: My Kleckners were John Kleckner 1750-1839 and wife Anna Barbara Koch. They are buried in Mifflinburg. There is a Solomon Kleckner buried nearby. Their daughter Maria Christina Kleckner married Mathias Snook. She is buried at Shracktown and Matthis is buried in Loganton with his second wife.
