    3. Hi Betty, You contacted me about my Pifer earlier...If you give me some dates of your Pifer information I'll check to see what I can find out. I am taking a research trip out to Bellefonte and will be able to let you know what I find. My Pifer was born in 1840...and died in 1903 in Philadelphia area. Unfortunately I cannot locate any information about him prior to finding him in Bellfonte census 1860...living with the Humes family. They were known to take in children.
