Norine, I saw no such obituary. His great-great-grandmother was an Ammerman which MAY connect into my Werts ancestry, hence my interest. Perhaps the Philipsburg Journal (weekly) picked up something, or the Clearfield Progress. His son Marvin died Oct. 1, 2006 and he had a full obit in the CDT. Justin, Thanks for the reply. There was no notice in the Progress. I do have the full obit of his son who died in Oct 2006. Just can't imagine why there wasn't one on the father.
