Hi, scanning through my husband's ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> - deceased) Family Tree data and as I was raised in WV we would have stewed tomatoes and bread broken up and stirred in the stew, but we didn't have dumplings. Now I wonder if the broken bread idea took the place of the dumplings. My background with ancestors from PA.
