I have Carrie Lizzie Kleckner -- probably actually Carrie Elizabeth -- born 6 Apr 1871 in Lewis Twp, Union Co, PA, d/o Daniel & Mary Elizabeth ( ) Kleckner. Carrie married in Centre County 3-9-1897 to William Franklin McClellan. She had surname of HOUTZ when she m. McClellan. Obviously (from census records) she had at least one child, Edith R. Houtz, b July 1888, by her previous mar. Do any of you know who this Mr. Houtz is who was first husband of Carrie Lizzie Kleckner and the father of Edith R. Houtz? Appreciate any help.
