He was born at Port Matilda on Aug. 8, 1888, a son of George and Alice C. Burns. Surviving are his father, his wife and seven children, all at home, and these brothers and sisters: Troy of Huntingdon, W.Va., Raymond of Bellwood, Herman of Akron, O., Edward of Stormstown, Clara of Gatesburg, Allison of Baileyville, Mrs. Olle Barto of Graysville and Mrs. Luella Hoffman of Tyrone, and two half-sisters, Violet of Altoona and Edith of Stormstown. The body will be brought to Tyrone this evening and will be taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Barto, at Grazierville, where it may be viewed to the time of the funeral, which will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Mt.
