There is a younger James Boal in the Union Cemetery in Bellefonte. He was born in 1838 and died in 1908. ON the same marker is Anna E. Boal, 1874-1902. The only other remaining cemetery in Bellefonte is the St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery, and there is no James Boal in that one. I have heard that part of Bellefonte has been called Cemetery Hill. Good luck with your search. You might try contacting Christopher Lee. Google 'Boal Mansion Museum.' Chris is the resident curator and there is probably a link to his email. He is a Boal descendant and has done some genealogical research on the family. I would think that his research is well documented. Apparently, according to FamilySearch.org, James BOAL, born 17 Mar 1764 in Ireland, is buried there. He died 22 Jun 1836, supposedly in Bellefonte, Centre County.
