Saturday, May 30, 2009 The Centre County Genealogical Society invites you to attend the rededication of the Cedar Creek Cemetery (aka Old Standford) which we have been renovating over the past several months. In Harris Township, this cemetery is the resting place for Mary Patterson Chambers Potter, second wife of General James Potter, plus several Kuhns/Koons, Fisher, Ford, Culbertson, Keatley and Livingston families. It was an active cemetery from about 1789 to 1860. The cemetery rededication will be at 3:30 PM and an evening program at Damon's Restaurant in State College will begin at 5 pm.
