This series contains essential records relating to one of America's earliest colonies, from 1664 to 1780, including military, tax, marriage, and land records, as well as documents from American history covering the Revolutionary War and the Whiskey Rebellion." http://www.footnote.com/documents/185749/pennsylvania_archives/ You can search for a name, date, place or topic in these archives just by signing up for footnote (you don't have to pay). You can also save records you find on the site and on your own computer,, and can print out a hard copy.
