In 1860 he was in Clinton Co. Wife was Sarah b. 1815 and their son William was b. 1845/46. In 1880 William is living with his own wife and children and his parents, S.A. McDowell age 69 father, Sarah age 56 mother. Any guidance on this family unit would be greatly appreciated. Researching McDowells on Centre and Clearfield Co, and then Alexander dropped in.
