My grandmother was Daisy Townsend til she married Floyd Freeman Laduew in Elmira, NY. Elizabeth Barnhardt Townsend was her mother. My great grand mother died in 1960, when I was 4 yrs old and I remember her as a very kind loving woman. Unfortunately, her grand children are all dead now and so the only other information I can give you is where Elizabeth (or as we knew her Grandma Eliza) is buried. She is buried in a cemetary between Beaver Dams and Corning NY, and her grave is close to the enterence. I can't remember what the name of the cemetary is. I do know that it is a small one and her last name at the time of burial was Southard. She married again after my Great Grandfather passed.
