I am searching for documentation to link one family to the other. I've been told there is a Centre County connection. Here are the families of interest: John Heinrich Ohrendorf (b. 1733 - Hof Eichen, Freudenburg, Nassau-Siegen, Germany) married Margaret Clark - lived in "Dauphin County"; John Ohrendorf (b. abt. 1765, Dauphin County) married Ann Elizabeth Ochsenreiter, April 22, 1792, in Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania. John was the first doctor in Gratz, PA. John is said to have moved to Haines Township, Centre County ; John Peter Ohrendorf (b. February 22, 1800, Washington Township, Northumberland County, PA) was the postmaster in Gratz, PA, in 1828; John Henry Ohrendorf (b. July 18, 1831 - d. June 25, 1899, Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania) married Jennie Rebecca Welker (b. abt. 1837 - d. January 06, 1894, Shamokin, PA); Bertha Sevilla Harriet Ohrendorf (b. April 26, 1876 - d.July 04, 1961, Shamokin, PA) married Charles Henry Werline (b. January 06, 1866, Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania - d. May 28, 1937, New York). I'm willing to share notes, and I shall be grateful for help and direction in linking these families. Thanks, Joe morse73@ptd.net Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
