He was born on October 19, 1950, in Phillipsburg, PA, to the late Wilfred Glen and Verdella (Brink) Hudson and moved to Bergholtz, NY, as a small child. He attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School. He was a member and past president of Roofers Local 74/Local 203. Most of his working years he spent at Grove and Weaver Roofing in the Buffalo area. Glen was an avid chess player and was instrumental in establishing a chess club in the Tonawandas. After an early retirement Glen shifted his interest to golf and played nearly every day. He is survived by two daughters, Angela (Jeffrey) Blubaugh of Gaffney, South Carolina and Jenifer Gilson of West Seneca, NY; step-son, Tracy (Brenda) Mangan of Wheatfield, NY; step-daughter, Tammy (Al) Ruggiero of Niagara Falls, NY; brother of Robert (Barbara) Hudson of Appleton, NY, Linda (Jeffery) Lee of Hunker, PA and John (Denise) Hudson of Niagara Falls, NY; three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Glen is also survived by his longtime partner, Eva Rowe of Ocala, Florida. A celebration of Glen's life will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 2-4 PM at The Shores Restaurant, 2 Detroit Street, North Tonawanda, NY.
