My family is from Pa: Huntingdon, Jackson Township, Shavers Creek, Bellefonte family surnames Ewings, Fleming, Pacini, Hampton and have been in these areas of Pa from 1700's to 1960's. my grandfather, James Pacina 1879-1966 was married to Ellen Ann Hampton (1883 Jackson Township died 1946 Pa) John Martin Pacini immigrated from Tuscany born 1832 died in Bellefonte Pa 1902 was married to Sarah Fleming 1847- 1886 Bellefonte, her mother was Sarah Ewing born Shavers Creek 1805 died 1882 Bellefonte, pa her father James Ewing 1763 Pa died in 1845 Huntindon Pa. Having trouble verifying his mother and father Thomas Ewing? It seems Thomas Ewing had many wives, Sarah McClus,Sarah Robinson? and more. Do not know which one was James' (1763-1845)mother. There were sooo many James Ewings and Sarah Ewings and Flemings. Cannot go back further until we find James' correct mother. Any shared info we have in common would be greatly appreciated.
