Nicholas Crispen/Crispin was my 5th great-grandfather. I am descended from his son Thomas Crispen who stayed in Beech Creek and Bald Eagle twps, Clinton County when Nicholas and some of the other children went west. There is a lot of conflicting information out there on the Crispen/Crispin family. I have searched for years trying to definitively establish the connections. I listed Peter's children below. If you send me an email, i will forward you the best data I have found on Nicholas's children, and more detailed info i have on the crispens. I have a lot of other information on later Crispens from the civil war pensions and whatnot, and from the Crispins of Phila and NJ.
