Mr. O'Hara was born August 17, 1923, in Boggs, PA, the son of Albert and Julia (Woods) O'Hara. He lived in Niagara Falls since 1943, prior to returning to Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Navy in the European Theater during W.W.II. He then worked as an operator and supervisor for 34 years at E.I. DuPont Co., prior to retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Marshburg Fire Department and of the American Legion Post 1142. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the husband of the late Bettie (Vallimont) O'Hara. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Moore) O'Hara; his children, Mrs. Gene (Judith Ann) Benuzzi of Port Charlotte, FL, Richard A. O'Hara of Ransomville, and Mrs. James (Connie) Johnson of Manitowic, WI; his step-children, Sarah DiBlas of Spring, FL, Roseann Wallace of Cloverman, FL, Neil Wallace of Bradford, PA, and Howard (Mona) Wallace of North Collins, NY; his sister, Mrs. Harry (Lyda) Kraus of Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 PM Wednesday in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM. Rev. Robert W. Peck will officiate. Interment will be in N.F. Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
