Greetings, members of PACENTRE, I wish to bring your attention to a new volume about to be offered by the Clinton County Genealogical Society. Clinton County is our neighbor to the east; at one time, half of the county was included within the limits of Centre County (from Feb. 13, 1800, to June 21, 1839). Many persons went back and forth. This new volume concerns the cemeteries of Renovo Borough and Chapman Township in Clinton County. Each known gravestone has been included in the publication, along with maps, directions, and brief histories of each cemetery. A number of the residents of the Lower Bald Eagle Valley have cross-connections with this region. Several of my own ancestral lineages from this area have family branches who lived in Renovo and/or Chapman Township. The terrain there is similar, and similar forms of employment existed. Anyone having an interest in this book, to be published by the Clinton County Genealogical Society, can contact me privately for further details. Those of you having relatives in the areas above mentioned may find beneficial information in this volume.
