For instance, I noticed that though my line of OSWALTs were not listed, the family was there for at least two generations (g & gggrandparents), if not more. However, the Treasters (ggggrands) are listed. Could it be that land was given or divided among children that would not have been registered, and subsequently handed down through the family? Could it be that, because of changes in county lines, the records would be in another county? By the way, just what is a land warrantee?
