Hello, Justin asked me to post to the list concerning our most recent project. We have just finished converting Linn's History to a 100% searchable digital CD-Rom. In this format, searches are near instantaneous, you will find every single occurance of the word or phrase that is searched. The CD can be searched in other modes such as word stemming mode. This is handy for those names that can be spelled "100 ways". If you were seaching for Emenhiser for example you could do a word stem search for Emen or Eman or Immen, I think you get the point. You may also search for words that sound alike. Once again using Emenehiser as the example, you could get hits on Immenhiser, emenhiser, Emanhizer, ect. Everything is in image plus hidden text format, as are all of our cd-roms. This means that while you are looking at a exact digital image (think of it as a digital photocopy) there is text laying just behind it. This not only allows for the thorough indexing which makes the search feature work, but it also allows everything to be copy and pasted right into your favorite genealogy program. These describe just a few of the reasons that our E-Books on CD-Rom a welcome edition to anybodies genealogical library. For more information, samples, or to place your order please visit our website: http://www.bushbooks.com regards, Chuck Bush
Thanks, Chuck. It's always good to know about new resources available to us.
