Howdy Justin and to all of you in Centre County. Sorry for this intrusion, but just have to tell you about the wonderful time my family & myself had at the Centre Hall Grange Fair. We traveled over 4 hrs. to get there from Erie, Pa. It was well worth it. The food, Sunset Ice-cream, & many items for sale was great. We watched the horse show, with Western & English riding. The showing of the gorgeous draft horses were fantastic. Afterward, we camped at the Evergreen Campgrounds on Paradise Rd. Penn Twp. This 150 Acres of beautiful Mt. use to belong to relative, Lee Kinley. He sold it in 1987. I met his sister Erma, and brother Wilber & wife who have permanent homes there. Justin, we found the graves of my g.g.g. grandparents, Daniel & Jane (Shannon) Kennelley, also their daughters', Doubalina, & Hannah who was married to Charles Miller next to them; also B.F. Coates who was married to their daughter Mariah, and some of the Breons in the Spring Mills Cemetery. We also toured the awesome Penns Caves that my father & grandparents use to tell me stories about when the family settled there in early 1800's and there were still Indians living there. Do you have any info on a Harold Kennelley/Kinley who was born & raised in the Spring Mills, or Gregg Twp. area. He was lost in a downed plane in W.W.II? I believe he was a gunner on a B 24??. His body was never found. At the time his mother was a widow. I'd like to know if there are any other family members living there. Thanks for listening and any info will be appreciated. Justin, I want to thank you for doing the beautiful work on Jane's tombstone which had fallen over & was broken. I don't know how you fixed it, but I along with many family members know what a big heart you have in doing all that you do, behind the scenes. God bless you for your many kindness'. I was in hopes that I would be able to call & meet with you, but time ran out. There was a Houser that had something of an Arcade at the Fair. Any relation? I'm so proud to say my people came from beautiful Centre County, "God's Country," where the folks are the friendliest. Would be happy to do lookups in Erie County for anyone. Dorothy (Kennelley/Kinley) Cote
