Concerning NARA pension forms, we sent a request in August of this year for some Civil War records and got the requested documents about 4 days ago. It was stamped with a date late in October as the day it was processed at NARA. We considered that the delay in mail delivery due to 9/11 might have slowed it down. However, another time a couple years ago we waited for about 6 months or more for a reply. No problem. A reply will come.
