    3. I cannot find these towns in a modern atlas. do they no longer exist? were they renamed? I have my ancestors in a tax record (1834) for Spring twp and a census (1850) for White twp. now if I could find stuff for them in between that time...     3. If you're looking for a town named Centre, Mohrville PA (I believe it's in the Reading area) was apparently known as Centre at some point in time.
