Does anyone have an opinion on using on-line census imaging services vs. purchasing a census cd? I have used the former at quite an expense only to discover that in the case of certain counties the information is either incomplete or in some cases whole townships are missing. I am now thinking of purchasing census cds from Heritage Quest. I hesitate to name the on-line subscription service for legal reasons, but needless to say, data integrity is everything in genealogy research and when you are doing a surname search of an entire county -- line by line --and then find that pages or entire townships are missing, it becomes very deflating. Are there any other reputable census cd companies out there? I would like to hear from other people on this list as to what they use.
