    3. in 1840 Spring twp, Centre Co., George Warick, one boy 10-15, one man 30-40, 2 girls under 5, 3 girls 5-10, one woman 30-40. (George born 1800-1810) has anyone seen anything about this man? he is the George Wyrough listed in the 1834 tax record for Spring twp along with my Johannes Weyrauch/John Wyrough. I can find nothing further regarding him or his children. the 1840 census states he has 6 children born between 1825 and 1840. 1 son and 5 daughters. my hypothesis is that George is John's child, perhaps his eldest (John b. abt. 1785, George born 1800-1810). I also hypothisise that if George is John's son then George married in the old country and had at least one child born in the old country. (John came to America in 1831, George's son was born before 1830) it is also possible that George came before John. I cannot find a naturalization record for George, if one exists, in Centre due to the inability to use soundexing in the naturalization index.

    3. Cornelia, Merry Christmas! I don't know if this information will be helpful to you or not, but I found a marriage of a George Worrick to Caroline White 10/19/1831. In the 1850 census for Logan Twp., Clinton Co. there is an Abraham Worrick, 31, with John, 82, Margaret, 80, and Mary 41. It appears that they were living next door to John Worrick, 35, Elizabeth, 37, Samuel M., 16, John, 14, Jeremiah, 12, Benjamin J., 9, Margaret J., 4 and Mary Castrator, 40. A Margaret Worick is buried in the Union Cemetery at Tylersville, Clinton Co. She died 10/5/1893, age 75Y, and was the wife of Abraham. In the Methodist Episcopal Church, Lamar Twp., Clinton Co., there is a William, s/o George and G. Worrick, d. 3/8/1863, aged 27. I wonder if that should be s/o George and C. Worrick? I don't know if Weirick is a variant of your name, but a George Weirick b. 7/15/1819 d. 3/14/1850 married Mary Meyer and they had: Pauline, Thomas George, Henry Edward and Zachariah T. This family is related to me. This George is buried at Rebersburg, Centre Co. I hope this helps.
