Hi Mary and all interested, Since I'm the chair of the cemetery project, I guess I should answer this one! The actual reading of the cemetery, as well as the typing, indexing and proofreading of the book, is finished. However, we've had an opportunity that rarely presents itself, in that we were able to photocopy the cemetery association records. This consists of 3 books covering from approximately 1900 to present, listing each grave opening and closing. The details varied from year to year and clerk to clerk, but there is a lot of information. We are still struggling at compiling a list of unmarked graves (and their approximate locations whenever possible) and also marked graves with no death date on the stone. It becomes crazy when the burial is for 'Mrs. Smith' or 'Baby on John Jones lot'.... etc. Please bear with us, hopefully it won't be much longer. Watch the genealogy society web site for sales information. We also have some other books getting awfully close to completion, so you may see 2 new ones before the end of the summer.
