Jean Corio Tampa, Fl DEMOCRATIC WATCHMAN BELLEFONTE, PA FRIDAY NOV. 17, 1905 JACOB HICKS One of the oldest, best known and most esteemed residents of Half Moon township, died last Saturday morning. Deceased was a native of this County and was aged 82 yrs He was a farmer by occupation, a hard working, honest, upright man. As a citizen he was fearless and progressive, always advocating any and every movement that would tend to the elevation of the community in which he lived. In Politics, he was a Republican, staunch and true to his party at all times. He was a member of the German Baptist church and a devout Christian Gentleman. He was the last surviving member of a family of 13 children. His wife died three years or more ago but he is survived by the following children: Mrs. James w. PETERS, of Tyrone; Mrs. Alice WILLIAMS, of Martha; Mrs. Harry MCKELVEY, ofJersey Shore; Mrs. Charles THOMPSON , of Loveville, and J. D. HICKS of Stormstown. The Funeral was held in Stormstown on Monday Morning Burial in Grays Cemetery.. (Jacob HICKS died Nov. 11, 1905, Aged 82 Yrs, 8 Months and 4 days..
