Ray Edward IRVIN b 16 Feb 1897, Vineyard, Mifflin, PA, d. 9 Jun 1983 Plummers Hollow, PA. Marriage date 12 Mar 1919; son Jack E. Irvin. Info supplied by BCHS: Announcement in the Altoona Tribune, Monday, November 24, 1919, p.12, col. 1: "Born. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Irvin, of Tyrone, are rejoicing over the arrival of a fine ten pound boy. Mother and baby are doing nicely. Mrs. Irvin was formerly Miss Rose Updike." ALSO, an attorney surname IRVIN performed the marriage of Edward William UPDIKE (brother of Rose listed above) and Anna Belle (nee JAMES; widow of HANEY) UPDIKE on Feb 11, 1919. Believe attorney's office was in Hollidaysburg. I don't have the atty's first name here but can look it up in my files at home if you need it; let me know. By the way, if anyone on the list has access to a death notice or obit for Edward William (may have gone by "William") UPDIKE, who died 22 Dec 1922 in Hollidaysburg or Tyrone...
