Sue, > . This is where Phillip > Musser Jr is buried, so wondering if Catherine Kreamer Musser > is buried there too. She probably died 1826/1827. Would there > be any records of births or bap. for either of Phillip & Catherines > daughters. I have the date of about 1808 for the Catherine Musser > that married Reuben Geary. Of note, in Heckman Cemetery is a stone for: Benjamin F., son of Samuel & Lydia MOSER. No dates on the headstone but he is buried with three people who died in late February and early March 1858 so it is safe to assume he died then also. (All children; perhaps an epidemic). His age is given as 1 year, 2 months, and 15 days; thus born abt Dec 1856 if my assumption is correct. Lydia RIPKA is my relation (her mother having been a BREON) so I would be interested in sharing info on that particular descendancy if anyone has any. >From his headstone, in German, at Heckman Cemetery, we learn that "Philip Mosser was born 1783 and died June 21, 1835, in his 52nd year." The persons at Heckman are buried in the order of death, more or less. There are a number of empty spaces where there are no stones. Also many stones have been moved around to make the rows straight in order to mow. I found no stone for Philip's wife Catharine in the listings I have. I also have this info in my records: >From Salem Lutheran Church at Aaronsburg: -- Philip Moser & Catharine. Johannes, b 25 Nov 1814; bp 28 Nov 1814; sp Johannes Moser. -- Philip Moser & Catharine. Maria Barbara, b 26 Jul 1816; bp date not given; sponsor Maria Barbara Lidig. >From Penns Creek Lutheran Church in Gregg Twp.: -- Philip Moser & Catharine. Philip Timotheus, b 10 Nov 1828. -- Philip Moser & Catharine. Rachel, b 23 Jun 1830. I have these children listed for Samuel and Lydia (RIPKA) MOSER: 1. John Ripka MOSER (1846-1912) 2. Amanda MOSER (1851-1889) m. John KAUFFMAN 3. Benjamin F. MOSER (1856?-1858?) 4. Samuel Franklin MOSER (1862-1938) m. Caroline L. CONDO 5. Minnie MOSER There were probably others as well that I've not uncovered yet. I look forward to hearing from those connected with this line.
