Good evening, friends, I was very disappointed and rather upset today when I knew that the inclement weather would prevent me from saying my last good-bye to Ray Sharer. (We now have seven inches of snow on the ground and it is still falling.) However, the response from so many of you truly makes me feel that I have served to uplift his memory and tell the story of his life one more time, just as he enjoyed to do. And I believe that he would approve of the effort, and be happy with it. The fact that so many of you found his life story interesting is a tribute to him in itself. From the bottom of my heart, I wish to thank you for taking the time to remember Ray with me.
