I should clarify that the document I mentioned with land owned by John Grove (his dates, by the way, are 3/31/1797 to 9/15/1860) is not really a map, but a piece of paper that shows coordinates and other land markings (i.e. beech tree, saw mill, Egg Hill, etc..) along with bordering land owners names. I don't know what the real name of this type of document is. I believe the Atlas that Justin mentioned is the Pomeroy one, yes? If so, I actually have an original copy that I use quite often. And I just put some more connections together and think that I have located the land that I was searching for on in this atlas! Many thanks for your offer, Fred.
