For those of you researching these MEYERS and MORRS, I have some information: Henry MEYER is said to have come from New York (not to be confused with Henrich MEYER and Anna Kunigunda of NY). He was in Heidelberg Twp., Lancaster Co. (now Lebanon) by 1725. He had the following children: 1. John b. ca 1719 d. 11 Dec 1768 2. Henry b. May 1720 d. 17 Nov 1812 3. Jacob b. 1733 d. Feb 1808 4. Michael b. d. ca 1794 5. Christopher b. d. 2 Aug 1801 6. Barbara Jacob (#3) married Susan Ream. He lived in Snyder Co. and is buried in the "Zion Old Cemetery" near Freeburg. His children were: 1. Catharine m. John MEYER and settled in Brush Valley, then moved to KY ca 1797. 2. Barbara m. Michael MOTZ 3. Philip b. 14 Nov 1755 d. 27 Apr 1831 m. 1780 Anna Margaret MORR b. 20 Aug 1759 d. 12 Mar 1829. Anna Margaret MORR was the d/o Andreas MORR b. 30 Apr 1727 in Germany d. ca 1801-1805 in Snyder Co. He is buried ar Morr's Church, Washington Twp. Andreas was m. 1st to Catarina Elizabeth ROENNINGER 13 Jan 1755. She was b. 17 Apr 1732 and d. 1787. Andreas then m. Anna Maria RENNINGER/DEWALD b. 12 Jul 1747 d. 25 Apr 1817. [Does anyone know whether these two were sisters?] 4. John Jacob b. d. Nov 1815 m. Julia MORR (also a d/o of Anreas) 5. John George b. d. ca 1810 He m. 1st Elizabeth BUCHTEL d/o John BUCHTEL, then Mary BROSIUS 6. Henry b. 15 Oct 1764 d. 17 May 1820 He m. 1st Mary STEESE, d/o Jacob STEESE of Snyder Co. then Margaret HARPER, d/o Hon. Adam HARPER of Penn's Valley. 7. Michael b. 20 Mar 1765 d. 5 Aug 1843 He m. Agnes BUCHTEL, d/o John, and moved to Rebersburg, then to Stark Co., Ohio in 1814. 8. Christopher, never married, died about age 20.
