All parties and parents born PA. 1890 Census, Walker Twp., Centre Co., PA: David Wise, 62 -- Zion; Elizabeth, Hannah D., Milton I. 19, laborer. Zion Union Cem., Walker Twp.: David Wise, 6 Jul 1828 - 14 May 1894, 65y 10m 8d [There are no other Wises in the cemetery. He is buried in Section 1, Row 24, between John C. Love and Emanuel Twitmyer.] Centre Co., PA Death Records: David Wise, male, 65, s/o Henry & Mary, bp Woodward, farmer, d 14 May 1894 at Zion, accidental, bur Zion. >From the CENTRE REPORTER (Centre Hall, Pa.) of 17 May 1894: David Wise, age 66 years, on the 26th of April, died from his injuries at Walker Township. He was thrown from a horse he was riding. He leaves a wife and several children. [Abstracted by Gerri Aitkin.] (Note this is a different date of death. Perhaps April 26th was the date he had the accident, and died on the 14th of May.)
