    2. Hi Acc. to "Centre Co, Pa, The County in Which We :Live" by J. Marvin LEE 1999. Centre Co. was formed on Feb. 13, 1800 from Huntingdon, Mifflin, Lycoming and Northumberland Counties. Potter is the oldest of the townships now in Centre Co., and it was formed in 1774 when this was part of Northumberland Co. .
