Jean, What a wonderful item! Martin Batdorff Sr's wife, Maria Elisabeth (Walborn) Batdorff (1696-?), was the sister of my 7th great grandmother, Anna Christina (Walborn) Loesch (1700-1782). Obviously, numerous descendants of these families came to populate Centre County. The Batdorffs were among those who were founding members of Christ Lutheran Church at Stouchsburg in Berks County, PA in 1743. I wish I could afford it!
