To Fred Houts, c/o PACENTRE With luck, this message should get back to Fred. He first posted a request for information about Ezekiel BING. I responded with an e-mail to him with cc to the BING list. My message to Fred bounced, I now have more information on Ezekiel which I tabulate below via PACENTRE list: I have a copy of the marriage license for Ezekiel BING and Nancy CORMAN (this spelling used on five places on the license). License dated 28 Feb. 1896 and notes marriage was performed 3 March 1896 in Snow Shoe by M.L. Jackson. Application lists his age as 49 and hers as 39 or (born in 1847 and 1857 resp). Application also indicates death date of Ezekiel's first wife as 14 Oct. 1893 and just 1881 for Nancy's first husband. He is listed as a farmer from Snow Shoe and she is listed as from Bellefonte PA. Next, I have a copy of the Orphan's Court documents in the estate of Ezekiel Bing who died on 5 Dec. 1912 in Snow Shoe and was survived by his....." widow (Nancy), son Frank Bing by a former marriage and by three grandchildren being children of deceased daughters." Lastly Orphan Court documents involving the estate of Ezekiel's first wife Rebecca BING who died in Feb. 1893. She was survived by her husband.... "a daughter Mollie Holt, inter-married with Samuel Holt, and another daughter Lettie who is said to be over twenty-one years of age." Fred, send me a mailing address and i will send copies of these and other ancestral data. John On Mon, 12 Aug 2002 17:39:03 -0700, "John A. I also have some documents I obtained from Centre County; possibly marriage or death... Be patient for a day or so for me to get out my data. I just (one hour ago) brought my wife home from the hospital after minor surgery and have to be with her. Ezekiel's father is Samuel BING, b 1813 in Chester Co.PA and whose father is Robert BING b 1781 (or so) of Chester Co. I think that Robert is the brother of my ggggrandfather Joseph BING, but I'm still looking for documentary proof. I also show Ezekiel and Rebecca had four [wrong, should read three] children, Franklin, Lydia and Mary.
