Have just received copies of some obits; looking for anyone with connections to or further info about the following: STIVER, Mrs. Ida Jane (McManamy); died 5 Dec 1916 at home of her "aged father" [John McManamy in Osceola Mills]. Survived by: "Her husband and three children" (not named... husband may be "Harry" per 1910 census. Children??????) Ida's surviving brothers and sisters included: Frank [McMANAMY], Mrs. John JAMES, (Mary Alice McManamy) Mrs. Nelson CRAMER, (Nora Belle McManamy) Misss Nanie [McMANAMY]...(Nancy Ellen) ...and Edith [McMANAMY]. (Was Married to Harry MIESE, lived Clearfield. Their dau Mary Ellen married Herbert THOMAS of Clearfield.) BROOKS, Hannah: listed in 1910 census in McManamy Household as "daughter, Age 41, married 10 years"... but no evidence of her as a daughter in earlier censuses...Any BROOKS researchers out there?? ROYER, John F. of Osceola (dates unknown) spouse of Maggie Jane HANEY (b 1886) Daughter: Sophia ROYER (unmarried?) Daughter: Margaret ROYER m. Arthur HERLT, later lived Tyrone, no children. PEERLESS COAL MINING CO: obit of Peter Thomas HANEY, who died age 27, 5 Dec. 1916, notes he was employed "at the mines of the Peerless Coal Mining Co." Anyone know what mines this company owned, or whether any employee records might still exist? Any help appreciated! Luann
