Listers -- I am seeking information of any type on the above named man, Ezekiel Bing, born about 1844 (based on age of 46 at time of 1890 reconstructed census), where he was then a res. of Snow Shoe Township. I know that he was twice married: first to Rebecca J. Shank 1855-1893. They were married 21 Jun 1864. He then married second 3 Mar 1896 to my cousin Nancy Holderman 1856-1919. His first wife is bur. in the Askey Cem. of Snow Shoe Twp.; 2nd wife bur. Howard (per her obit). However, I have nothing specific on Ezekiel himself as far as birthdate and birthplace, names of his parents, date and place of death, and burial info. Ezekiel Bing's 2nd wife, Nancy Holderman (my distant cousin) had previously been married, probably about 1873, to one James W. Korman who died in 1883 and by whom she had 5 ch. between 1874 and 1882. By the time she married Ezekiel Bing in 1896 she was 40 years old. I'm almost certain she had no children by him although she MAY have. Fred, I have a lot of data on Ezekiel BING and two generations of his ancestors. I also have some documents I obtained from Centre County; possibly marriage or death... Be patient for a day or so for me to get out my data. I just (one hour ago) brought my wife home from the hospital after minor surgery and have to be with her. Ezekiel's father is Samuel BING, b 1813 in Chester Co.PA and whose father is Robert BING b 1781 (or so) of Chester Co. I think that Robert is the brother of my ggggrandfather Joseph BING, but I'm still looking for documentary proof. I also show Ezekiel and Rebecca had four children, Franklin, Lydia and Mary.
