    1. Re: [PACENTRE] M.E. Church - Spring Mills?
    2. Bob, I would be interested in a copy, as Robert Kennelly is kin to me. I suggest you give the original to the Centre County Library and Historical Museum, 203 N. Allegheny St., Bellefonte, PA 16823, the primary record-holding institution for local genealogists and historians. I do not know of records of Spring Mills Methodist Episcopal Church in the Bellefonte library. The only (current) United Methodist Church I can find in the area is: Faith United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 239, Aaronsburg, PA 16820. That is the mailing address. The street address is Route 45, Spring Mills. You can call them 814-349-4491. I am embarrassed to say that I am not familiar with this congregation. They are officially known as "Spring Mills Faith" by the United Methodist Church. FYI, the church is within the jurisdiction of the State College District (Superintendent Patricia Woolever), in the Central Pennsylvania Conference (Bishop Neil Irons). If you find that this is not your ancestors' church, you can contact Dr. Milton Loyer, Conference Archivist, at (I think) loyer@lycoming.edu. I may not have the address correct, but if you do a search on the 'Net, you may find it. The Conference Archives at Lycoming College in Williamsport should hold records (if any) for defunct churches in the bounds of the Conference. I'd recommend giving Faith Church a call, and see what they can do for you.
