Pat, I must confess I do not know of a Wolf's Den. The area you put it in would put it up in Curtin, Howard, or Liberty Townships. McBride's Gap in College Township was named for John McBride (1797-1864). It is now on the property of the Rockview State Correctional Institution. The former village of Lauvertown was on the site. John's wife, Eva Etters (1806-1888), was a sister of my 3rd great-grandmother.
