Dear lists, There is an apparent error in my Grandma's notebook, either hers, or mine in transcription. As soon as I find the original notebook, I'll know which one!! Mrs. Jacob Glossner is listed in the notebook as having died 16 May 1906. Actually, according to the records for the Baptist Cemetery in Blanchard, Jacob Glossner died on that date and his wife, Elizabeth, died 5 Apr 1912. This could be an error on part of the person doing the cemetery census as well. Does anyone have other sources for this apparent error? Death certificate or family Bible or some such, to make a confirmation of the correct date? Has anyone seen the actual dates on the tombstones in the Baptist Cemetery? Since I am dyslexic, maybe Grandma was, too!!!! =) -- Carol Courter Updegraff PO Box 222 Glennallen, AK 99588-0222 cupdegraff@cvinternet.net Locations I am researching include Lycoming, Clinton, Centre and Northumberland Counties in Pennsylvania.
