Mary. I was sorry to hear of the death of your husband, Bill. May God bless and be with you in this, your time of greatest need. My husband died a year ago and I know that you will never completely move beyond it. However, as the days pass, you will start to think of the happy times you had together and the sad times will be less imposing. It will ease you to surround yourself with loving and compassionate family members and friends and to try to busy yourself with things you used to love to do. Eventually, you will begin to enjoy life again. And, above all, prayer is very healing. Don't let anyone tell you that you will get over it, because you won't.
